This
is a physically challenging 5 week course(200 HR). This course
is
run on a split shift as follows:
8AM
thru Noon - On the training field.
1900-2300
- Night problems in different cities.
The
two main reasons for the split shift are:
1)
It allows us to work 5 weeks of building and area searches.
2)
It allows the dog to rest between sessions, for optimum learning and performance.
The
morning sessions focus on tracking, obedience, agility, box search,
muzzle fighting,
evidence search and control work. The
evening sessions focus on building search, area search, muzzle search,
civil finds and practical problems. This training also allows
the new handlers to observe many experienced handlers and dogs, which
is an invaluable experience.
Each
handler will receive an Entry Level Agitation certificate during this course,
and it is feasible to obtain an Intermediate or Advanced Level certificate
during this course.
Please
feel free to contact us for more information, or a copy of our schedules.
