Master K-9 was the innovator for hospital security canine teams.  We
have been involved with hospital security K-9 teams for seventeen years.
We carefully select these dogs to ensure they have the proper temperament for the hospital environment, and yet  still have the drive
to be an effective tool when needed.

We have a unique approach at Master K-9 where we totally integrate
the hospital teams with the law enforcement teams.  We require our hospital teams to pass the 5 week, Patrol Dog 1 class, and hold them to
all the same standards as a law enforcement team.  We strongly recommend the teams complete the yearly three day POST K-9 handler 
update class, and get on a structured maintenance training program.

Our Hospital Security K-9 teams have proven reliable in the following 
four areas:
A)  Patient Therapy
B)  Making the staff feel more secure, arriving and departing 
the facility in times of darkness.
C)  Psychological Deterrent, to potential problem makers.
D)  Help security officers in effecting an arrest.
